The Coding it Forward Fellowship is a competitive summer cohort that empowers early-career technologists to contribute to meaningful civic tech work within government offices across the United States. Fellows engage in impactful technical projects in areas like cybersecurity, data analytics, product, and software engineering while participating in programming, mentorship, and peer community events over a 10-week period. The 2026 cycle runs June?8?–?August?14,?2026, with applications open January?5?–?January?19,?2026

ELIGIBILITY_REQUIREMENTS

U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or permanent residents; 18+ years old at the program start; enrolled in or recent graduate from accredited degree or qualifying bootcamp/certificate program, and physically located in the U.S. for the entire fellowship
